Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear,
Who lived in the forest and had no care.
One day he tried going to sleep,
And heard a loud, sorroful peep.
He got off his massive tree swing,
And saw a bird who broke its wing.
Fuzzy cradled it with caution and care,
And nursed it to health in his wooden lair.
Next month Fuzzy crawled out of his tree,
Letting the little sweet bird fly high and free.
Just remeber to always practice philanthropy,
Because it will fill others with happiness and glee.

The View at Greers Ferry
As I look upon Greers Ferry, the aqua blue water drifts to and fro from the constant wind. The huge cliff slowly erodes as the crashing water splashes it constantly. The distant island looks so far as I climb the dusty boulders while the misty wind slaps my dry mouth. I try to enjoy the music from the tailgating trucks, but the boat smoke and BBQ tickle my nostrils. The brustilng pine trees send a sweet pine needle smell, synging my nose. I enjoy the lake's warm presence and hope it will coress me forever.

"Confidence" advertisment
The point of the ad is to attract card buyers with the cute irony of the card. The funny thing is you can not buy confidence. It is a human emotion that is brought out when the girl is trying to answer a question in class, but maybe this card has a deeper impact on us than we really think.
The irony within the ad is quite hysterical. The ad says "confidence," and hanging on the "c" it says "starting at $.99." You can not buy confidence, which the card sort of implies. The jist of the card is to encourage kids to do better in school or just cheer a student up. Plus, the person who gave the card is thanked by the person who recieved the card thus cheering them up as well.
Maybe this card will help people beyond being thanked. Since the card starts at only $.99, you can give cards to several kids. If each adult pitched in a little, you could encourage kids all over America; thus raising the national grade point average. Therefore, kids will get smarter and they will be more prepared for their future careers.
This card not only is an ironic joke, but could change American education as we know it. A picture is worth a thousand words and this picture is a perfect example. Card ads can be quite hysterical but also have a deeper meaning as well.

I am
I am cunning and wise
I wonder where life will take me
I hear people yelling in the distance
I see men shaking hands
I want powers from worlds unknown
I am cunning and wise
I pretend I can't be stopped
I feel like I'm on top of the world
I touch the clouds in the sky
I worry when a deer will be in the road
I cry because I know I'll die
I am cunning and wise
I understand I'm not the best
I say judgement will come
I dream of peace on earth
I try my hardest not to fail
I hope heaven beckons my name
I am cunning and wise
I wonder where life will take me
I hear people yelling in the distance
I see men shaking hands
I want powers from worlds unknown
I am cunning and wise
