Boy Saves His Mothers Life With CPR

This boy is a great example for young children of all ages. "Police in Richland, Wash., say an 11-year-old boy saved his mother’s life by calling for help and then giving his mother CPR." Kids need to be taught CPR skills from a very young age. CPR has saved many lives. Without his quick reactions, his mother could have died. "The boy came from home from school Friday and found his mother unconscious. He called 911 and began performing CPR, following instructions from the 911 dispatcher." It is important that teachers and 911 dispatchers know what they are doing. People like this might not know as much as this boy and need proper guidance.
It is important that 911 responders are always ready. "Police responded and took over CPR until paramedics from the Richland Fire Department arrived." Situations like this can happen anywhere. Their speed and effectiveness depends if someone will live or die. We need more kids that can do these extrordinary acts. "Paramedics were able to get a pulse and the woman was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland." Kids like this should be awarded for their great acts. More kids would look up to them and try to be better citizens to make their communities a better place.
