If your friend was in trouble wouldn't you do what's best for them? In,
Of Mice and Men, George executes his best friend Lennie to save him from an angry mob. Is this forgivable? I believe it is. George was just trying to help Lennie out. He knew the mob would have found and killed him. George realized Lennie was going to die and Lennie would most likely get beat up and suffer, so he just took him out. It was more of a kind execution rather than a murderous execution. George just did what was best, therefore he should be forgiven of what he did.
What are some other exceptions to killing someone? What are some other situations in which it might be okay to kill someone? Since you believe it is acceptable under this situation, you must believe it is acceptable in other circumstances.
