Titanic

As I reflect on the horrible crash of the Titanic, I seem to wonder what events made it happen. I do beleive it was fate, yet I think it could have been changed. The captain should have realized that the ship was not very agile and couldn't turn very well. As well as knowing that huge icebergs were in his way and not to act so headstrong; thinking that the Titanic was unstoppable. But the people should have realized anything can happen. It is just a sea vessel not God himself. I am shure people didn't think of that when confetti was flying through the air and peoples chants were an uproar. Then again, you should always prepare for the worst. The ship should have had enough rafts for every passenger and crewman, but then again it "couldn't be sunk." Besides $60,000 is enough for one ticket, let alone a family. I do not think one boat ride is worth that. For some reason people chose to get on that ship, not be prepared, and be to stubborn to think the ship could not crash. Therefore the decisions of the owners, crewman, and passengers led to their ultimate demise. (Besides the ones that lived, but they pretty much wasted $60,000+.)
